tanit
Nice diy work on the led lightings. How far away from the water surface? It's around 12" from water surface. As I use 60 degree lens. When turn at 90% it very bright. Anyone have par meter for me to borrow to measure will be the best measure. tanit
Maybe you can post this question to RA ... Maybe they can help you on these. If not check out RC diy forum there are many diy led thread and I came across some have the same scenario as you and they manage to solve it Thank will try to search. As I understand that this meanwell driver by official spec it can dim to only 10-15%. After some search seem not many in market can dim to 1%. One of them is call Steve's driver. It's cheaper than meanwel but sure about reliability. I will try to research more. tanit
Try searching for mw LDD drivers Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 You mean meanwell LDD series? But this will require DC voltage for input. I try to search for another,it's also using DC input. Hmm..... Llook like if really need to control to single digit dimmable percentage need to go for DC controller. Llook like if really need to control to single digit dimmable percentage need to go for DC controller. u can even use an old laptop power supply if ur light is of small scale. just do some voltage calculation according to ur no. of led used Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
tanit
For laptop adapter at most I found is 24v which can drive 6-7 led per driver. For my case I will need 8-9 driver that would almost double of my driver that I use now. And made cost must higher. Else need to jump to proper dc converter higher voltage insate like 48v for 12 led per string. Dracula
A discussion in RC , http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2222702 . it's actually more cost saving and best is it can dim to 1% for moonlights Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
