Guess these are the constraint as I do not have much room to play with. We try to plan the skimmer and the filtration at the left hand side of the tank for easy weekly maintainance as there is slight more space.

Make a decision today to change the led lighting to the latest model ecoxotic 120w. Try to search for reviews over the Internet on this set but not much info on it. Hopefully I make the right decision ...

I am using the 50W model.. No regret at all, the color and shimming effect is awesome !!

How are you going to house all those tons of salt? <img src='http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Nice setup. You may need to be a little careful on the power socket that is need the protein skimmer. Over the time' date=' there will be salt deposits and this may be a risk...[/quote']

Thanks for the advice, ask pple to do a protection cover over the socket else got sparks all around :P

Bro

Is 50w enough for sps?

Depending on the height of your tank. Mine is a 2ft height so 50w is ok. If you have a 2.5 ft height go for the 120W

nice tank but did you consider using compressor? For the water volume and the position of your tank.. I think a compressor would cool down your tank in a much faster time frame :)

Cheers, ;)

Yes bro, the temperature is almost 32 celsius in the afternoon without activating the chiller. Getting the Aircon guy to come these 2 days to see how to run the trunking from the compressor to the tank .

Week 3

Aircon for the tank up and led lightning all up.

Waiting for the wallpaper to cover up the rough patches for next week.

*Using the Aircon chiller is much much faster than the conventional chiller :)

Week 4

Hi bro

I leave some gap at the top of the featured wall for air ventilation for the lights.is that enough?

This week mark the end of the cycling cycle of the tank. Next, will be the 20% water change and starting to add some corals in. :))

Hopefully 3 weeks of cycling is enough for the tank .
