how long can fish live wuthout eating?

I bought venetus angel and has been with me for 2weeks now..I've never seen it eating. So preparing for the worst , how much longer can I expect it to survive?

Venatus angel is one of the difficult angel to keep and prone to internal infection during shipping.

Try to treat it with prazi gold which may help. Fish can usually live for about 2-4 week without food but it also depend on condition.

Not only venetus angel, butterfly is also very challenging to feed, even with mysis shrimps....

Most fishes can survive without food for about a month. Try to stimulate your fishes appetite with brine shrimps. it worked for me previously.

i used seaweed with garlic to tempt my finicky fishes.. you could try that with your venustus

Suggest hyposalinity (@ specific gravity of 1.009) for lesser osmotic stress for the fish even if it continues to fast. Dim the lightings too. And soak your pellets with garlic to boost the fish's immunity.
