What snails feed on chaeto

I always have strands of chaeto that make their way into my DT.

I'm thinking of getting some snails to feed on them.

What snails feed on chaeto? What about bumblebee snails?

how about a strainer on the return inlet to prevent strands from getting into dt?

The chaeto is in my HOB filter, so its hard to prevent loose strands from escaping even after fitting a strainer.

Don't think snails will help.. Cos the strands are like flying around in your dt.. snails will be too slow.. so a cut to size sponge with bigger pores will be a better option for ya..

I've the same problem. They either get caught on the LR, or the wavemaker, or end up in my filter sock.
