Hi Bro,

Anyone using black sand as substrate? I thought it may be cool to show off the color of the prata, etc.

And better cannot see the brown diatoms :P

Any thought on this?

Hi Clownfish forever, it's good to finally have the same interest. Am setting up a tankk myself as well & thinking the same idea like you. Saw a few types of Marine Black sand in LFS but it's not black enough. Saw some substrate very balck & shiny in color but was informed that it only can be use in fresh water tank. Is there any difference ? :friends:

As advertised, it is. I did saw some marine aquarium with black substrate when I googled.
