Any fellow reefers tried this before?

Claim to reef-safe, don't want to kill anymore livestock like I did with the UV Fluorescent light.

Shop say it will kill germs and bad bacteria with UV, safe for fish and coral, can put in main tank,

ended up bleaching half my tank and murdering all my fishes in 6 hrs.

IMHO, the best way to ensure that your livestock does not have ich is not by dosing medications but through:

1) Proper election

2) Proper acclimation

3) Proper QT

4) Good water parameters in main tank

If any of your livestock have ich and you need to treat it, you need to remove them to QT:

1) Increase temperature to about 29-30 degrees

2) Administer medication according to dosage instructions

This medication isn't reef safe. I tried it to eradicate white spot and while it's effective at eradicating the white spot, I lost a number of corals, snails and shrimp. All my zoas, turbo snail, nassarius snails and cleaner shrimp died. Super Sun coral and Hammer coral retracted and stayed that way for days until I did 3x 20% water changes and put carbon in the sump. Red mushrooms closed up and withered. Yuma mushrooms are still 50-50 after 1 week as they closed up but haven't died yet. Skimmer went crazy too and is still not fully back in action even after 3x 20% wc and carbon.

All in all, I wouldn't use it again.
