Sun Coral problem - Help needed

Hi Bro & Sis,

I have this Sun Coral which seems like seriously injured not sure why? Have been target feeding each ployps every other day but seems useless and seeing that the white portion is dominating the poor coral.

Anyone has this experience pls give me some advise so that i can save it. Thanks.

Dying. Check water parameters

Water parameter okay leh. The super sun and black sun is doing well.

Super sun is actually more forgiving

May not be ok for them. Corals are less likely to survive acclimatisation when they are already damaged before introduction

Have u try dipping it in coral rx solution?

They are very sensitive to water changes. Daily feeding may helps.. My previous normal sun last me half a year with my daily feedings. Suddenly they dont feed and dies off. Any movement or water change will lead to this.

Thanks. It's a challenge for sun. My old tank in 2006 have sun and was easy to keep. Open big big everyday, but this one really upset me.

Hope the 2 corals from u will grow big big. Huat ah!

Try to frag the heads out as the main rock is dying. should be able to save some and force them out in a cup of shrimps.

The sun is attached to a rock, how to frag out? Won't it hurt or kill the coral? Pls advise.
