Recommend me a return slient pump

I considering a small sump ard 12"x8"x16" size tank. With a 1000l/hr return pump. I been reading alot. A few forums I saw are saying eheim compact 1000 having humping sound when operating. I'm currently using a eheim 2217 canister now. So wanna find a return pump that is as silent as my 2217. Can someone give me some advise on the options of return pump available.? Thks.

Eheim 1250. Get higher flowrate as headloss reduces flow rate. Refer to pump's performance graph to get the actual flowrate vs headloss

since 2.5ft you get high flow rate you dont need wavemaker lo lol

hahaha.. dont like that leh.. i on low budget actually.. thinking of aquazonic sumo1 or hailea hx6520 ext pump. Anyone gt experience with this 2products? cant find any review on google.

Try Tesino pumps bro. have read a lot of good feedback on them for low heat and energy consumption.

Will be switching to that in a few weeks from my Atman which is super high wattage! (95W for 5000l/h if im not mistaken)

their min flow is 3500l/hr too high for me alr. im looking for 1000-1200 only

my tank is 2feet sump abit bigger then urs,i'm running aquabee 3000 keeping mostly lps coral.dont forget still got headloss for pump.

aquabee headloss more them ehiem mine i aga aga left ard 2000L/hr haha,u can check my tank tread but very long no update duno still ard hehe.

if i got chance redo my sump i may also get the tusino pump,dont wory the higher flow cos u can always T-off the return to other equip like

skimmer,FR and many more. or got budget get the DC pump like wave line,anyflow rate u wan also under ur control

I suggested not T-off return to other skimmer or reactor. The effect won't equivalent split.. May be T-off to other tank still ok... Cheers..

added 2 thick rubber hose to the feet of the pump. I've heard others enjoying great success with EPDM but have never tried it myself
