I am looking for acrylic sheet to DYI a box about 2 ft cube.

Any one have or knows here to get, pls PM me. Kindly also let me know genraly selling how much per sheet of 2'x2', or any standard size. Thin sheet ok as not making a tank.

LFS do sell them too. If not able to find, goto the shops with glass windows/grilles maker, they carrys acylics too.

Any idea how much it will cost ? IF too ex, may have to think of other materials.

why not get kwong ling framemaker at kelantan road to do 1 for you....at least it's more stable and durable

hi try bras basah complex they have lots of shops selling staionary and i've got some arcylic sheets from there. price is less then $10 for a huge piece i suppose i can't seem to remember though

2ft by 2ft thin acrylic (assuming 3mm?) is VERY prone to cracking even if not making a tank!! be careful ah...

Using as a shed for my chiller to protect it from rain only. Knew will crack over time from sun/rain, but protect chiller from rusting more important and cheaper to replace acrylic than chiller.

then to join the arcylic sheets get chrofoam can't spell it rite anyway use this and then let dry after which you use silicon

Eh boxing the chiller up would result in heat being built up within the acrylic box, which (if temperatures reach high enough) might cause the acrylic to warp...

Also, the heat build up is bad for the chiller... do consider...

Aware of it. Only want to do 2 sides and top to shield rain-facing corner and enough to shield chiller. The other 2 sides facing sheltered walkway so no need to shield and will provide air circulation.
