Maintaining KH

Hi guys,

Am just wondering how have you been maintaining your Kh. I have a calcium reactor and managing it well maintaining at 420-430 range. My concern is now my KH . I have a Kalk reactor as well and use grotech carbonate . As it is in powder form it gets dissolved easily and it seems the whole bottom lasts between 4-6weeks tops. Though it gives me good reading maintaining at 8-9 ...errr Question is , just like calcium reactor where you just set it and let it run for a lonnnnggg time without touching it, are there better ways to put any other type of product that could last longer ??

I'm clearly aware of bicarbonate soda and am not looking at short term gain but long term run.

u should use the CA reactor to measure your KH and not CA level. once the tuning is sustainable, the calcium should be at a reason level.
