Boyu Mini Skimmer

My Boyu Mini Skimmer are producing Skimmate BUT the water that comes from those Skimmate are not very dark in color.

Its slightly darker then the my tank water, so I'm asking whether the Skimmer is not good or the quality of my tank water affects the performance?

Depending on your preference. Dry skimmate tends to be darker than wet. It's kind of like tea or coffee, the more concentrated, the darker. If you are doing wet, make sure skimmate very frequently. I prefer a wet skim for small tank. Somehow, it helps you to do wc, haha
