About Chiller + Fan

Hi,

I am new this. Will it help to cool down the water faster if I set the fan to turn on together with the chiller?

Which means, when the chiller kick in, the fan automatically turn on. Once chiller stops, the fan turn off too. Will this helps to cool the water faster? If yes, it is energy saving.

My setup is that fan on constantly.. when it hits a "dangerous" level the chiller turns on.. my dangerous level is at 28°c

It's a hybrid system Interesting concept. Something like a Toyota Prius. But I think turning off the fan is not gonna save much in relative electricity cost. Better to keep fan running 24/7. I think It'll simplify your setup, & minimise electrical faults.

problem is the evaporation rate is going to high, not good if the tank is small

Best is invest in a good size chiller for just incase you want to upgrade your tank too hehe
