No. As long as you wash it before using it.

Becareful, it gets very hot when the dry pellets get hydrated.

Thanks for the reply. I did another check with the supplier.

PhosGuard is not capable of altering the pH of water. PhosGuard is very successful at removing phosphate and silicate, but is also soaks up some organic acids (an additional perk of this product). Removing these acids will help to keep your pH more stable.

but results r proven. dunno how many times as good as seachem phosguard.

u pay for what u get.

Agreed!! I always believe the expensive stuff must be good!! :lol:
