I saw this "VIA AQUA" skimmer in the fish farm, selling at $100. Not the deluxe, the normal one. Has anyone used this before? Is it any good?

its supposed to be able to house filter media/biological filter, a UV sterilizer, a surface skimmer and protien skimmer.

A similar one which is the Prizm Skimmer Pro Deluxe, which is without the UV sterilizer, cost 5x the price.

no.. its the prizm skimmer.. normal one... no deluxe. And 2 weeks ago I asked was still $198..

I newbie mah, haha. Anyway, if the VIA AQUA skimmer is good, i may get it next wk. My current skimmer is those air driven ones, dun even have yellow "skimate"

Yishun FS selling the Via Aqua Deluxe at $90.. non Deluxe version at $70+ ..

but no more stock coz I bought the last deluxe one... Think the shop owner told me wed or thurs coming a new batch but non deluxe version.

BTW non deluxe is without the UV light..

Try looking for 'That Aquarium' in yellow pages. Got the number there.

Is the via aqua multi skimmer good?

I am still considering whether to get it.

Anyway, so far can't find any with the deluxe version.

im using it on my 2ft. skimate like black coffee.but i take 2 wks to get that, get the overflow werking properly and stop having fine bubbles flown back into the aquarium. either than that, i would reali recomend 3 ft and below for those with no sump

How about the noise level....it is low?

to me quite noisy. i have it in my room n i use the silencer at night wen i slp. but it will produce less bubbles
