I have five triggers in my tank (clown/blue lined/Picasso/ Niger/ undulate).

Mostly sponges/ softies and a few fungia/ gronio etc.

None have ever touched my coral.

Only exception was a clam which the clown tried a bite but ignored it after that...

So yes it's all dependent on temperament but just keep them well fed.

Check this out - http://www.qualityma...shes-(07/10/09). I tends to agree more with this article. However, do note that small crustaceans are never safe with trigger.

not possible to keep a clown trigger with cleaner shrimps for example?

Don't think so, CT are one of the more aggressive specie, they will sample of anything in the tank even wave-maker cover and wires when they gets bored. - http://www.inthetank.co.uk/fish-2/triggerfish/clown-triggerfish/

I cant change your mind set if you still thunks that is okay to put a clown trigger with other small fish and in a small tank where there is not enough space. You will be left with a trigger in your tank..

Nice one.
