currently on reef crest mode

after switching to night mode, it became constant speed 50%

is it possible to set night mode on reef crest 50% instead of constant speed 50%

thanks

I thought night mode applies to all? Doesn't matter which day mode u using, when nite time comes, nite mode speed will be activated?

quote from manual "When entered in Night Mode, the pump will slow the speed to a set percentage of the max speed of the mode you currently are in."

but after switching to night mode, the blue led(speed indicator) stays at 50%

the motor sound remains constant too

unlike normal reef crest mode, ie increasing and decreasing

is this happening to my mp40wes only or all mp40wes?

maybe u wan email to ecotechmarine n will get s definite answer. I just check my 2 mp40. using short pulse mode n I remember I set nite mode to slowest speed. the driver led is at the extreme left.

led stays at left, never see it "running". So mine is same as yours.

I think you have set the nite mode to run at 50%. Actually you can can to run the nite mode @ 1%(lowest), 25%, 50%, 75%. Just read up the manual it will teach you how to change the settings. Cheers.

found the root cause, my english lousy

"When entered in Night Mode, the pump will slow the speed to a set percentage of the max speed of the mode you currently are in."

night mode = 50% speed constant mode, and not the mode you set during the day

cheers

ps i prefer 50% speed of the mode im running during the day

Bro I'm using t5 only

MP40wes can set night mode by itself with or without Radion light so may be coincidentally matches your T5 light off timing lor.. !
