A bro gave me these stuff FOC when i bought stuff from him. Im running a FOWLR tank, do i need to use them?

And how to use them? Just place the powder in our tank or what?

You need to test your KH and magnesium before you add...

- KH good level is 8-12

- Mg around 1200-1440

Erm.. don't the bottles themselves have instructions written on them? If powder form then usually just dissolve in tank water in a seperate container and pour into the sump. If liquid , there will be recommended dosages written on the bottles.

The dosage suggested on the bottle serves as a general guide....but it really depends on your corals that you keep in your tank. But following the guide is a good start.
