Any FS with nice unique shrimps?

Yes... Like to know if there are LFS which brings in unique shrimps?

Maybe like halequin shrimps, emperor shrimps, Saron Shrimps, etc...

hehe... like to add to my shrimp collection.. minus the boxer, pistol and mantis of course

i had 3 harlequin shrimps, one is for sale cos the other 2 is a pair. But the one i'm selling lost an arm 2 weeks ago , now its growing back but its small.....probably takes another 2 week to grow the arm to even size. if u r interested, i'm selling @ $10, collection at Jurong West.....

Tempting... but I've heard they must be in pairs.. else not really sure if they'll live long alone..

btw do you put the whole starfish in the tank or just cut small pieces of the starfish to feed it?

not too sure whether it must be pair to live longer, i think its not true. As for feeding, i'll cut off one of the leg to feed the lone ranger, the rest jus dump in for the pair........

wah .. you rich sia.. how long do the 2 shrimp need to kill off the starfish? 1 day? .. then you gotta keep buying starfishes for them..

i always feed blue star, it can last for approx 2 weeks.... i tried a normal star last week, its beige n brown strip type, 2 days only gone...... , although it cost $3 but its not worth for 2 days... , anyway my harlequin is reserved....

I've given up on emperor shrimps..they just disappear.

Also given up on anemone shrimps..they tend to turn white after a 1-2 months and just die on you.

Try thor amboinensis...had mine for many months.

emperor disappear maybe because its being eaten.. hehe..

Wow.. thor amboinensis...didn't know there are such shrimps. Where can I get them? Not easy to find leh.. of course if got I sure buy..

Commonly they are called ###### shrimp.

Anyway..don't think got anything in my tank that would eat my emperor shrimp..cause nothing disturbs my ###### shrimp..not even a giant sri lankan pistol shrimp..nor my 2 jawfish.

More likely the emperor shrimp died of stress...they are found on a variety of hosts in the wild....maybe I should have placed it on my sea cuke..oh well..that was ages ago..i just placed it on my liverock and never seen it since.

Initially first few weeks it was..but now settle down already...hardly clicks at all..but real cute..moving my sand around every day. It's hobby.
