RO WATER SLOW !!!

Does anyone know why my RO System very slow I got 50 psi and it fill a 30 litres container more than a day. Yesterday I got a new booster pump and got it 150 psi but it fill my 30 litres container abit faster 30 mins only what should I do ?

I read somewhere that says that when your resin is brand new....it is usually slower....while your resin gets more mature...your flow becomes faster....anyone can confirm this?

I doubt it cos the DI Resin I used for 5 month already still the same now zzzz.

How old is the RO membrane? Could be choked due to build up of debris. Turn on the self cleaning valve for a couple of minutes.

I used the flush kit every week to top off arowana tank then RO menbrane is 4 mth

My booster pump spec is working pressure 70psi max pressure 135psi and 160LPD

Interesting... There could be a choke somewhere in the pipeline. Mine got no booster pump and gets 25L every 3.5hrs.

Why not disconnect the Crystal pro and just try on Zero RO System 5 stage alone and see what is the result.

That means you connected the zero rodi in series with the crystal pro? I suggest you remove the crystal pro.

change to 200 gpd type membrane.

but yr improvement from 30litres more than 1 day to 30litres in 30mins is a vast improvement already. me also using 5 stage with booster pump. 1 jellycan 25litre take abt 40min.

yrs looks normal to me.
