A sump worthwhile for a 2Ft

Hi Bros,

Any kind advise if a sump is worth for a 2Ft tank?

I have already used 2ft ADA and intend to use it as a marine tank.

Looking for my potential investment to set it up.

Perhaps u wanna go compact.. ie hob Skimmer + canister with liverock?

I am torn between eheim ecco pro and a sump for filtration.

Of cos i will need a skimmer.

However, I am looking to have a clean main tank setup as i wish to preserve the ADA clean rimless look.

May like having a lily pipes to the sump or Canister but skimmer I can't hide anywhere without a sump.

Yes.. if hob Skimmer proves a sore eye to you.. then sump maybe the only way for ya.. anyways.. to setup, the cost should be similar.

Just wondering if i am up for DIY sump, but not sure the size and the partition.

Otherwise any place i can already make sump?

To have a sump, I think we are suppose to have

1) Down pipe

2) Filter media

3) Skimmer

4) return pump

5) Live rocks or chateo
