JuzzMarine
hi betafish, What do you mean by 1) "i took it out of my room"? tank in your room? 2) "to a place with no pump and partial light" what place? another tank? 3)"when i changed water" which tank ? Can you please be a little more specific
SRC Member tidur Posted January 23, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 23, 2004 i guess there are die offs becos lack of circulation.. and therefore lack of oxygen
SRC Member Tigger Posted January 24, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 24, 2004 is yr lr already cured?
Achilles Tang
In future, treat all LR as living organisms... because they carry lots of life on them. They should not be left out of saltwater too long and be deprived of good water circulation because the living creatures that colonise liverock need oxygen too. You have effectively 'killed' your liverock.... or to precise... you killed the bacteria and living organisms on the rock. You can either throw it away... what a waste.... or you can cure it seperately and then once cured, to put it back in your main tank to be recolonised. SRC Member betaFISH Posted January 25, 2004 Author SRC Member Share Posted January 25, 2004 Its currently dead right? If i recure it, the process will be like cycling a non-cured liverock?
