DSB is deeps sand bed. DSB has pro and con, just that in life there are upz and downz. We can't said it is no good just that we need to perform maintenance as often as we can to keep it from accumulating too much dentrius. Sand goby helps to steer the sand a bit as we don't keep too many of them. So we still have to vaccine the sand bed regularly.

Thanks guys.

I have a remote DSB to keep my NO3 down. I don't think the DSB is the problem because my DSB is remote and do not have any diggers.

Anyway, tank looks weird with just 2 fishes.

Changed water last night and test parameters.

I believe dsb don't need to maintain. Must place netting and egg crate in between to ensure no fish disturbs the dsb. Depth is also critical. Having a plenum helps too

Black ocellaris pair (only survivors) started to eat although not as eagerly as before.

Hope the saga has ended.
