carbangle
those who actually have this skimmer n the foams doesnt seem to reached anywhere near the top, my advise is change the wood block, the standard woodblock is really crap, get a bigger one like sander 2, n u will see good foam reaching top. SRC Supporter Harlequinmania Posted July 21, 2012 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 21, 2012 i tried it myself also, by changing the bigger wood block the performance of the skimmer improve tremendously. blondmyth
bought one from c328, whenever the air pump was turned on, some air would leak from the bottom of this skimmer, and bubbles produced were huge, brought it back to them, luckily managed to get a refund from them. first skimmer and it turns out to be faulty? bought a bm nac qq instead and it works like a charm. SRC Member illumnae Posted September 24, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted September 24, 2012 Mine is working very well. I changed the wooden block to Sander 2 (bought from C328) and it's producing fine bubbles for me. Managed to start pulling some light brown skimmate over the weekend. I first installed it last Thursday.
