Chiller sizing for 2ft cube

Recommended Posts

Hi bros, I'm looking to purchase this Hailae HS28a chiller @ 1/10hp for my 2ft Cube, tired of running fans which can also be noisy and inefficient. Can anyone tell me if its enough or should I go for HS52a which is a 1/6 HP tank. My tank specs is

Display Tank 190L

Sump 35L

I'm expecting the chiller to cost around $350 sgd. otherwise if you have other recommendations please share them as well. thank you

Someone is selling a hailea 66a in the forum.. 1/4hp. Few months old only. I think it's a good buy..

I'm using one for my nano (less water half the volume of your 2ft cube). It kicks in for 10-12 mins every 90 mins. I see no significant increase in elect bills.

my 2 cents.

I feeding w a resun 1k/liter pump... But given the tank location no direct sun and generally cooling, air con only on once every few days when alot of ppl... I am quite surprised as well as I was expecting less for hailea
