keithtanbb
I experimented -grew some chaeto's, red bamboo, green grapes, red grapes in refugium with 2 LED T4's from Dama.(before was using T5's 2 feet before) and also same in small tank near window with natural sunlight . Natural Sun is the best.Green grapes grew just as well with "daylight" 3 feet LED T4's

SRC Member Dez Ching Posted March 5, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted March 5, 2015 I have a question if any of reefers has experience before? I have yet to provide any lightings to my chaetos(in my sump tank) which I have gotten from a nice bro here, and I noticed that it's like fraying off bit by bit. It's like hair dropping like this. Is the absence of light really the contributing factor?
SRC Member Whiskie Posted March 5, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted March 5, 2015 Yes. Absence of lights and flow. With proper light and flow, it bundles together without "fraying". The tiny bits may get stuck in your pump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
