SRC Member ozy Posted January 21, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 21, 2004 Normal air stone skimmer. If you have low bio load, it should be sufficient. I am using a similar sanders piccolo for my 1.5 ft nano. So far so good... But for my 2 ft, I use a 2014. You should get a pump driven one if you have the space. SRC Member arcanehacker Posted January 21, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 21, 2004 For a 1 to 1.5 feet, its ok but for 2 feet it starts to skim nothing.. usually clear water.. I have 2 sizes, anyone want (without airstone coz dirty liao)? Quote Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth? Marinedisc
I use the same one for my seahorse tank but replaced the stone to a sander wood one. It produce finer air bubbles and skimmate is dark brown.
SRC Member penyu Posted January 22, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 22, 2004 I tried changing the air stone to Sander by the bubbles overflow. Do u know how I can solve the problem?
