May I ask for advice how can I rest my clam on the sand bed for it to stand up straight? Mine tend to fall to either side. My sand bed isn't very deep.

Hey Jeff

I had this problem with my clam too, i couldnt just rest it, this was due to their nature of snapping shut when threaten, this makes it to drop on either side. The advice i got was to glue the side of the clam to a rock, just one side so that it still can open and shut as it likes. i have seen many clams being just places on sandbed, lets wait for other bros advice

You can consider placing the clam on a sawed off section of PVC pipe of appropriate size.

Side track a bit.

Is it 100% that Clam will suffer in a tank of Dwarf Angels ??

I think Clams are gorgeous stuff but my tank has 6 Dwarf Angels ... Very tempted to buy Clam from AM last time but ..... Scared.

My opinion is its almost certainly not possible to have both. Pygmys like to nip clam mantles but clam need their mantle wide open.
