This is how the tank looks as of now.. Planning to get Blue PL light to make the MH look bluer.

Getting Crocea clam and a hammer coral tomorrow.. And possibly a zooanthid tonight.

would it be ok if I'd kept two tangs in this tank?? one yellow tang and a purple tang.

nvm... decided not to... Just gonna keep one yellow tang... Tempted at first cause I saw many purple tangs at a LFS nearby... darned beautiful fishes... Quite expensive though..

yea... saw lots of Purple tangs at Aquastar Yishun... 35 bucks each... Do you think that's a reasonable price?

okok think now here's the fishes that I'm planning on keeping:

1 x Yellow Tang

2 x Six Line Wrasse

Some Clown Gobies

2 x Firefish Goby

2 x Purple Firefish

2 x Percula/Clark's (or 1 x maroon/tomato clown?)

There might be a problem with the firefish if they are not a mated pair. 1 might end up more dominant and stress the other to death.

firefishes are found in groups in the wild of over 4 fishes.. They live in groups for sense of security... They often do better in groups when kept in captivity as they feel safer and would thus be less prone to jumping out of the water.. Purple Firefishes and Normal Firefish Gobies are also known to group together in aquarium conditions. Firefishes are peaceful fishes by nature and will not disturb other tank inhabitants or fight amongst each other.

I tried keeping 3 firefish together. Did'nt work for me. In the end ended up with 1. However red firegoby with purple firegoby no problems at all as they are different species.

Currently keeping 2 firefish gobies in my 2 footer. Bought at different time. Just dump together... Very happy together.. Hangs around the middle of the tank together... haha... Maybe it's just your luck.... haha

At nite got see any goodies bo..? couple fighting.? guy doing pumping.. women screamin..??

anyway fire gobies of same spieces so called will rip each other guts out. unless its male n female.. then u see pillow fight. different spieces oki..

I got 1 purple n 1 fire, both share the same lobang..

fire is one of the more timid one, purple more daring..

(ie fire may starve to death if its scare to come out of hole to look for food)
