haha it's a floodlight. Got protectice Tempered glass shield. SO water cannot reach the bulb one. No chiller. Haven't got my fans. getting 2 AC fans soon. Temp with aircon and MH on: 27 deg cel constant. WIth Aircon off, can reach 29. The water bottle was put in there to lower temp by 1 degree. Now 26 Deg cel. Used to be ice. Now melted.

be careful, water the protective glass will become very hot when the bulb is on, and any splash of water may cause the glass to crack.

hmmm... point noted. Water splashed on it during operation. Lucky didn't crack. Will be careful from now on.

six lined wrasse not really aggressive la.. i have 2 . and they are cute when they sleep. and they eat until they look like they are pregnant

dunno what anemone. Very small one. It's bleached though. But still alive. Very beautiful one. Very strong sting. Will remove it soon.

soon. as soon as my MH gets hung and I get an efficient and effective cleanup crew. I added 2 gonioporas today. One healthy specimen from my other tank and 1 withering one from my brother's. My gonio is doing great under the MH, my bro's one still looks bad. Will try to salvage my bro's gonio.

BTW I'm getting a powerhead for my tank as I feel the return pump provide insufficient water circulation. What flowrate pump do you guys suggest I get?

Inhabitants: 1 cleaner shrimp.....

sad.... Gonna add fish soon..

But I found a mantis shrimp in my sump... Crawling in between my coral chips... Never catch it out... Do you think it might be able to get back into the main tank?? worried... I also found Limpets in my main tank... looks rather cute... Should I remove them? WOn't cause harm right?? Feed on algae??

You might wish to invest in a better stand. coz WI wont last very long. The WI on my QT starting to rust liaoz and can weaken the stand.

very troublesome to change stand leh... Need like 3 days to shift I think... And risk stressing the corals etc too.. thinking of getting chengai stand but dunno where to get and think quite expensive... Wanna get more corals cause think it's too empty liao... you changed the stand before?? hwo you do it?

I got a 3ft QT tank. I just move the live rocks and LS over, sand put in bucket. empty the tank and shift lor. No need 3 days lor. took around6-8hrs to complete the process.
