Planning to installed a 4 in 1 compressor at new hse, instead of installing 4 air con units, only install 3 units and use 1 of the point with drop in coil for the fish tank. Any bro or sis using this method or used b4? Any advise on the pros and cons?

Ya. If possible run 2 compressors. 1 for the rooms and 1 for the tank.

I know someone in the forum had done what u plan to do and in the end it was not so ideal.

Can't remember what was the issue faced. May need to do a search on the historical posting.

Hopefully this reefer will surface and share his experience here.

Hmm... After a few bros of advise, think safer is to hav 2 compressor, price wise should be a few hundred more ba. Anyway thanks for the advise bro. :)

I have installed system 4 with 1 point connected to my fish tank while the rest for the rooms previously. Yes, only non-inverter system can be used. Can say, no saving as compare to running 1/2hp chiller cause you have to activate 2hp condenser just to run your fish tank most of the time, only at night then you utilize the power for your room aircons. Why not using seperate 1hp condenser to run your tank which will save more energy. Now, I have 2 compressors, 1 just for the fish tank and the other inverter system for the rooms.

Ok bro, with ur experience and all other bro's advise, I'll go for an individual compressor for my tank. Thank you very much for sharing. :)
