Ph always remain low

what equipment u used to measure PH? with light or light off

2ft cube with 2.5 sump

400w MH with 6 x 24w blue T5

Hydor wavemaker controller

Aquatronica controller

Daikin compressor with double coil

RM CR

H&S out sump skimmer

Assuming there is no die-off in your tank.

Check your water flow and air exchange.

Besides decomposition, low flow and low air exchange will depressed pH.

Try to do test before and after photo-period to get better results.

get a PH pen then those unreliable test kit

I feel solution base test kit is more accurate than ph pen .ph pen need to calibrate over time to ensure its accuracy.

Measurement of NH3, high ammonia leading to ammonium can cause ph to drop. If tank is cycled, NH3, NO2, NO3 are 0/0/low, then check kh. Carbonate hardness affects the ph swing. If ur kh Is low, then ph can swing alot. Marine tank i read shld be 8-11kh.
