update: nothing much to update. sps grew a few more tiny branches... imo not as fast growth as i thought. but at least i know that my tank should be ready for more of those easy sps. is digitata easy? esp love he colour of german blue digi and forest fire digi

tks it also grows very fast. bought it 1.5 months ago now it has covered the entire frag plug and is spreading to the rocks already. btw your tank is also very nice. esp love yr zoas

Yes, your SPS is light shocked, this is common if they are exposed to LED for the 1st time. I am using LED too and I usually start my coral slightly lower and move them up. If I have to placed them high up from the start, I will reduce the light intensity by 50%.

at the moment quite busy with schoolwork and ccas. yes tks will try to find a space for them at a lower place in the tank as my led is the non dimmable type. did not expect the leds to be so bright hence did not get the dimmables. thanks for your advice

can try to raise ur LED via brackets or hanging kits.. how old are you by the way?

my led are mounted on those type of rail brackets and not on hanging kits so cannot raise it. as for my age i am younger than you. haha lol
