Protein Skimmer Reccomendations

I think my dymax XP-30 broke down.. theres a rattling sound and not producing enough bubbles and its only 2 weeks old.

I'm using a 2x1x1.5 sumpless tank so im finding either an internal skimmer or a HOB skimmer. Any good ones? With Mid Range price between $50 - $120

overbudget... I'm left with $300 bux to last for this month and its not even half the month yet.. i know its a very very good skimmer.

But the good thing is that the extra space would allow me to place a layer of sponge some bio home and Pura Complete.. i think so tho.

Does polyart do a money back policy? LoL $60 go to waste on a dymax XP-30 which not even 2 weeks old.

try tunze 9002 if you are going not to keep sps. less than 4 and more than 3 blue notes for a new one, silent and good. maybe got exchange, money back policy literally can't be found in singapore

Red Sea HOB Prizm Skimmer. Used this skimmer when i very first dipped my toes into reefing. very good skimmer IMO. gives you the dark green gunk you're looking for in the collection cup. My tank used to be a 2x1x1 when using this skimmer. once in a while there will be bros selling around $60-$120 range. if i'm not mistaken. unless you wanna buy a new one, you can find it at Qian Hu fish farm at Jalan Lekar - off lim chu kang road. they sell the skimmer and also the add-on accessories to it. not sure of price though.

tunze and deltec much better than red sea prizm. used that before, not very good, skimmer has a fair bit of temperament, need constant adjustment

yup theres a guy selling it market place, red sea prizm duluxe. The dimension would take up half the size of my tank. length is around 1ft.. no space to hang haha

hopefully I can get 2nd hand too. if I am not wrong, 2nd hand is better than 1st hand after mild cleaning as it requires less break in time

PVC pipes, must be careful of plasticizer and additives leeching. try to switch to uPVC. especially the PVC near to pump, if temperature too high, PVC burning can produce dioxins and HCl.

already bought the BM E3.. nice good bubbles skimmate... but mirco bubbles coming out of the out flow.. since its a new one will view on the microbubbles issue.. i think its effecting my 1 spotted fox face, its going crazy and unstable.. not fully yellow..
