Bro, i would strongly recommend u BM NAC QQ instead of Dymax XP-30.. My dymax just broke down with rattling sounds.. and its just 2 weeks old.

I don't know why' but u tried to take out from water n put back with power on. It work for me.

tried everything... take out from tank, washed, dried, put in back, adjust here and there.. still rattling and micro bubbles coming out of the outflow.

u need to adjust the air intake according to the tank water level, atmospheric pressure, etc. skimmers, especially those badly designed, can be very affected by various conditions very significantly. usually takes a few days to break in, according to tunze's manual, it takes weeks to break in.

used to have red sea prizm pro, noisy for 2 weeks, then silent for another 2, and finally skimming water for no reason.
