Help! Zoas not growing

Hi bros,

I had my zoas for over a month now. They are fully opened (about 10 polyps) but have not grown at all. My SPS are growing, my lps are growing. Only my mushrooms and zoas are not.

I have not done any feeding except feeding my fishes w the small sized reef pearls for my clowns.

My water are as follows:

1.025 sal, 0 nitrates, pH 8.4.

Any suggestions to make them grow?

P.s. my toadstool leather recently stopped extending their polyps and I saw a light gree layer on the surface. What's happening?

You have may high phosphate and that contribute to the algae growth...get a good test kit and/or PO4 remove.

Oh I had chaeto as fuge and that made my tank nitrates to zero. And I assume they will bring my Phospjate down to zero too. They don't?

Mind share wat zoas u talking about. For my experience, some zoas too a long time to grow. As long as it open up nicely n look healthy, u should not be alarm bro...

I don't know the name prolly eagle eye? It's red centre with lumi green rims under blue lights. Prolly a common type.
