Is anyone using this products and have its review. Planning to take out my boyu wave maker as its too fat and big which consumes lots of space. Cant afford a MP10, i can pay 2x of my bike instalments with that amount. LOL

Any reviews? Is Tunze 6015 compatible? Maybe Hydor Pumps? Or does the set comes with the pumps.

hey,

Tunze 6015 should not be used with wavemakers according manufacturer's recommendations.

But from what I have read at reefcentral people do use them with wavemakers. They might make a rattling sound upon start up. Not sure if it affects the warranty or the lifespan of the pump.

What is the size of your tank? You might be better off with a Hydor Nano...

2x1x1.5 yeah was thinking for hydor koralia but the hydor controllers seems expensive... the controllers cost more than a Ecotech Mp10

What I meant is to use 1 or 2 hydor nano or K1 without controller. You can direct the flow either upwards or against the glass so as not to have a too direct flow. Many people have succeeded in this kind of setups as opposed to having controllers.

OIC.. i got u.. maybe buy 2 hydor nano aim at glass.. seems hydor nano is the smallest in the market with est 900l/hr pump.

I have one, because of space constraint , driving my boyu-wm1 and newave nano, so far so good , it does have a start-up sound when alternating , other than that seem ok.
