nah . i just miss having my own little world... free for me to scape and rearrange and remake however i wish... with all its inhabitants..who worship me. whos very existence depend on my mood. a whole contained ecosystem where i am god. Actually see the cabinet cost abt $300-$400 and add the cost of the sump and tank and you get close to that price.

custom make about $50 go glass shop make8mm thick

sump about $120

cabinate about lets say $200 go wood shop make

total about $370

glass shop they know how to make decent looking tank with top and bottom euro bracing and sump? They deliver to your house for free? Cabinet strong enough? Can gimme the contacts?? Thanks. Maybe in future wanna get bigger tank.

you referring to normal wood and not chenai wood? I really not sure too but I heard it cost like $300-$400 for the cabinet alone.

workmanship maybe abit sluggish, but one of the

more reasonable pricing..

I recently got a quotient for a 4 ft tank with cabinet and sump. The followings are the details:

"Hi Simon,

I have work out the quote for the tank. Below are the details.

Main Tank

Dow Corning Weatherseal black silicon is used. All glass edges are

machined.

12 mm thick glass. Tank comes with euro bracing on the top & bottom of

tank

to ensure a strong structure.

Cabinet

Chennai wood is the top grade wood & known to last for decades even

under

saltwater condition.

Chennai structure are all machine file smooth. No rough surface. Won't

cut

yourself by running yr fingers over them.

Sump Tank

Size: 4ft sump for 5ft tank. Design of sump will be custom design to

individual needs and requirement.

Piping optional

George Fischer Piping. Pipe work will be designed to have all safety

net to

prevent any flooding even if main pump failed. Additional cost will

depend

on pipework.
