SRC Member MadScientist Posted July 16, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted July 16, 2012 Looking for yt, pt and pbt combo. Hard to find small sizes for all 3 at the same time?
SRC Member kaykay Posted July 16, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted July 16, 2012 I think it's tough finding 3 small healthy specimens of YT PT PBT, at the same time. Perhaps gotta pay the LFS to temporarily house any of the 1 or 2 before the trinity can be introduced at the same time into our tank. xeneryx
Are they still fighting? How long have u been keeping both? Mine not fighting anymore. Just chasing each other once in a while. I bought another small sailfin, surprisingly both tangs doesn't care about it. So I have 3 of the tangs together now.

xeneryx
What did you do during the initial fight? Mirror ? i've tried many ways. no mirror for me. -rescaping the rocks. -letting out either tang only in the dark while sleeping -since yt is the dominating one, i locked it in betta box for 2 weeks and let it out when both tangs are fed full. yea. that did some magic. SRC Member Bulldozer Posted December 3, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2012 We will never know what the Fishes are thinking.. Used to have 2 Yellow Tang (4") + 1 Scopas Tang + 1 Blue Tang for 1.5 years..nothing happens. Not long after I removed the Scopas and Blue Tang, the 2 Yellow Tangs fight like nobody business until their Fins Tear ... "Eat too Full, nothing to Do" ... Then I added a smaller (about 2.5-3") about a month back.. The YT kena whack like siao initially.. But after 2 days, they have been living in harmony since.. My tank is a 2ft cube w/ IOS.. I wanna add a ABT eventually..
