SRC Member kaykay Posted May 24, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted May 24, 2012 The build looks good, pricing is reasonable for Cree LEDs. 20x3W. C/w separate power for blue n white. Dimmable too. Anyone using this? Looking at some testimonials before placing order. http://www.ledgrowlights.cn/detail.asp?id=277 Or anyone interested to do bulk purchase to save shipping and bulk discount? zaiqiu
Looks promising. What is the price?
SRC Member kaykay Posted May 24, 2012 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 24, 2012 Was quoted USD220 per unit with shipping. For 5 pcs and above, it's USD175 per unit with shipping. But I think GST will be imposed for >S$350 value. So should be 7% more ie USD187.25 per unit for 5 units and above. But the important is, still, any reviews here in Singapore. They do PayPal, so it think it should be safe enough..

bluemask
Wow, looks impressive & solidly built . You'll be surprised that there're many many manufacturers in China that make LED lighting set..the problem is choosing which company to buy from . Why not take the plunge & order. Do give us reefers a review when it's up & running

SRC Member spkentchai Posted May 25, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted May 25, 2012 If you break up the invoice and ship it with vpost....you will not need to pay GST. Thats how I usually get my amazon or ebay stuff from US. They look at individual invoice not the total order. SRC Member kaykay Posted May 25, 2012 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 25, 2012 My display is only 60x30x45(H), you reckon 1 pc of the aquawasher (5white 5blue) in a single grow can suffice for the tank? Softies and LPS only. Bro Amby, what's the price of the aquawasher before shipping?

ambystoma82
i must say the initial person who intro to me was terry and then LCF was using the product for his tank post also.. hehe maybe he can shed more light, as his is led main lighting mine led is solely use for the supplement of actinic blue, in actual it is extremely actinic and saturated colours, maybe tht is explaining why we always say those fancy corals are fake, using photo shop over saturated.. seriously there is no photo shopped just tht the led light makes the photo without editing very saturated. below is an uneditted photo of my nem.... ambystoma82
Sorrie folks took me something to find back the original post lolx.. The following is their reply to me when i requested on CREE instead of Brigdelux brand bulbs: Hi Joe, The CREE leds is different from the Bridgelux , the chips is bigger than Bridgelux one, the replaced things would be easier for the Bridgelux one. To make sure the Cree can woke the best, the way of assemble is harder than the Bridgelux one. Also you can not replace the Cree one with Bridgelux leds, Is the instruction sheet clear enough? did you got the point? If there is any problems please tell us. Regards, Roery in short i think he meant the chips and the bulb not compaitable... would the LED DIY gurus advise???
ambystoma82
i was thinking the heater was probably something like a hairdryer... but how am i going to make the stream a focus beam, else normal hair dryer should melt 3 bulbs at 1 go... :big_boss:
Jameshong
Imho, you need commercial hot blower for melting lead instead of Normal home use hair dryer which can produce concentrated heat focus n with higher degree of heat!
