SRC Member peacemaker Posted May 15, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted May 15, 2012 Good start! Looks like lots of thought and research have been put into this project. I'm looking forward to your lighting pics as I'm also tempted to upgrade the Maxspect G2 to Cree LEDs. Do share the LED configuration (placement & white / blue ratio). McQu33n
Wow nice. Super like!! Can see the well-thought planning. Hanging the lights must be a real challenge ya? Ceiling is too high. Dare not even attempt to propose the idea to my CO. Will be using either the rails provided with the lighting fixture or the clamps (understand they came with the G1) bought recently. McQu33n
Been busy for past 1 week. Thrown in a market prawn on Thursday to kick off cycling process. Still getting <0.25 reading from my Salifert NH4 test kit. Salinity @1.015. Target to increase it to 1.025.
McQu33n
How time flies. Been nearing 3 years since I last updated my simple set up. Just simply can't get a decent photo with my DSLR. Nevertheless, here is one taken yesterday with my iPad to start things rolling.
