Black Suncoral opening

This is my first black suncoral which I have bought two weeks ago. I have just feed it with some frozen minced meat, and now, it's opening.

Just wanted to share with all because it was seldom seen here.

Use prawn, squid, clam meat, grind into very fine pieces, keep it frozen and feed the corals.

I only manage to get my sun coral recently with cycloesse but I am not able to get it to open fully like all of yours.

For Cyclop-eez, you do put in directly or mixed to with some salt water 1st before feeding?

Dunno about you guys, but both my suns always open at night, or when the lights dim or are off.

I feed with mysis regularly. Each polyp I will give as much as they will take, or until I run out of servings haha.

If I want to feed at a time other than the regular time, I use the 'juice' from the defrosted mysis and just pour some of that into the water. They open in about 10min.

My largest polyp when fully open is about 1.5cm..smallest polyps which were never there before (and very cute) are about 1mm
