i'll get an anemone after i bought a compact size wave maker most probably a hydor koralia... boyu wavemaker taking alot of space, its too big.. and the vent holes are big, can eventually suck in my turkey blaster.

Hydor koraila is so hard to find. I'm happy with my current wavemaker Newave Nano, made in Italy. Great size. East Ocean Aquarium (freshwater) at Havelock sells them.

well, there's cases of anemone moving in a very well maintained, balanced tank, some even after a long time of no change. it really depends on the anemone's characters I guess

I'm using a ISTA MaxCare canister filter 360L/hr and a Dymax mini protein skimmer for IQ5. Running on a Dymax Vortex Cooling Fan W-8 and Boyu Wave-Maker WM-101. Substrate is normal fine sand and using Red Sea salt.

Hi, may I ask where did you buy your filter and skimmer from and the price I should expect? I'm starting a 2 ft tank and i dont intend to use a sump tank. Please feel free to offer any advice. I've also read about the liquid elements you make sure your water has, in order to maintain the water parameter, is that difficult or expensive?

No need to call.. i just went there today.. therse one.. confirm $70 for the ISTA Max Care Canister. For the skimmer, u need to check. I didnt saw it at c328 nor polyart.. BTW, dymax iq5 skimmer is under rated for a 2feet.. get a higher capacity skimmer.. I myself invested on the skimmer. From Boyu Skimmer to Dymax XP 30 skimmer to Bubble Magus E3 skimmer. I quite happy with BM E3 skimmer.

Sorry for the long absence as I was overseas. Read some of the postings. If you are keeping more livestocks, I would suggest a stronger filter. As for skimmer, Dymax IQ5 skimmer is pretty decent and I'm reluctant to use other skimmers as they are either too big (internal) or my tank is not high enough for an external HOB skimmer. For Dymax IQ5 skimmer, you probably need more water changes.
