Help! Unknown soft coral seem bad...

Hi Bros,

I got this coral from a friend who gave it to me...It was initially brown with flower-liked polyps with bulbs. I brought it back and after acclimatizing it for 2 hours in the bag, I placed it into my tank.

My parameters are all fine, 0 nitrites and ammonia, and 5 ppm nitrates with 7.8 pH.

When I saw it in the bag, the polyps are all shrunken up and closed.

Now its opened up but i realise the tips are turning whitish as shown on the pic below. Also the head of the 'bulbs' are showing white tips too.

Is this normal for a new coral in a tank or is my coral dying? please help!!

Oh and what kind of coral is this? And is the reddish color on the bulbs normals or is it 'bleeding'?

And the polyps seem to have broken segments

Bro Legent, your pH is on the low side. The ideal range should be bet. 8.0 to 8.5
