How to tell male/female Boxer/Cleaner Shrimp

Hi Guys, how do u spot the difference between male/female Boxer/Cleaner Shrimp?

i have a pair of mated boxer with me for around six months.. (the bigger boxer always have eggs)...and a pair of CS for about 2 months... the CS always pair up n move together(same as boxer--each pair taking one corner of the tank)....

but today i spotted eggs on both CS... does it means i have 3 female (2 boxer and 1 CS?) in my tank?

if so the the male boxer have been fooling around after lites out...hahahha

CS are hermaphroditic.Meaning they carry both male and female organs. They can fertilise each other.

They will usually produce eggs after they molt. Mine had eggs again 2 days after it gave birth

ya... i notice my boxer tummy always have eggs... but its the 1st time for both the CS

Shrimp larvae are actually a good source of zooplankton for reef tanks...considering that around 70% of zooplankton come from crustaceans; including copepods....
