White spot

Dear Bro,

One of my tang got white spot wat should i do. My tank only 1 week old. Snside the water? Or should i change or put anything inside the water? Or buy one cage isolate the tank?

Would be best to have it in a separate quarantine tank, as it can be spread to your other tankmates.

What do you have in your tank ? If it's a FOWLR tank, you could induce treatment directly to the tank itself.

you didn't cycle your tank?

Strictly no medication into main tank no matter how safe manufacturer claims..don't forget there are live rocks

I am using NSW so i did not cycle my tank. Want to catch the fish to isolate also hard. Keep hiding

by right you're suppose to cycle it before adding live stock. no matter NSW or salt mix you need beneficial bacteria in marine setup. they need time to make love and grow also. best is to let it cycle, else you'll be killing live stocks for the process of the tank

agree with Kelvin. although NSW already have some BB, the amt of it is not enough and you still hv to cycle yr tank.

Cycle the tank for best obtain results at least 3-4 weeks
