how many Firefish Goby can i keep in a 3' tank? cos fr e website i read it stated tat 'It is generally not aggressive towards other fish except those of its own species; a mated pair can live peacefully...' meaning i can onli keep a mated pair?

Go for a pair...they will do well together.

I have one pair in my 35 gal tank...doing well so far.

u can have them in group unless in big tank....

if u want more then 2 then u buy pair pair lor..

when i purchased firefish from harle@@@@ a few months back, lfs owner says if i intend to pair them up it's better to buy 3 or 5... this would increase the probability of the firefish pairing up.....

haven't managed to find any sources on how a male look different from a female especially when they are still in junvenille stage, so if we happen to buy 2 males or 2 females, then they would never be paired up..

I'm keeping firefish alone. Tried to keep them in a group of 3...1 just bullied the other 2 to death.

Look at the conditions of their fins in LFS and you know what I mean.
