Nano custom tank 42 x 41 x 42.

Hi all. Would be getting a tank. Size is 42 x 41 x 42. My only worry is that the glass is 6mm. Would it able to support? Is the tank gonna break? Thx!

I assume unit are in cm. this should have no problem as my current tank is 30"x 15"x12.5" high also use 6mm glass. And still give me safety factor of 6.

Anyone else running on a 6mm glass for ur marine tank.

my tank is 5mm and is 1.5ft cube. so far so good but i recomended at least 6mm for peace of the mind

no lar, 6mm is just so that u wont freak out at every sound you hear

is 8mm an over do as it's only 42 x 41 x 42?

Who is your tank maker? 6mm glass thickness should be fine if it is done by a reputable tank maker. If you just want to have a peace of mind, go for 8mm.
