Depending on what's not working, I also have a Resun which I took the trouble to tear it apart only to find out it was the fuse that blew. If you have some electrical know-how, with the help of a multimeter, it could help.

FOWLR Tank : 48"x24"x30"

Sump: 36"x18"x20"

Return Pump : Rio 32HF

Skimmer: Reef Octopus DNW-110

Lighting: 150W MH

Hi all! thanks for ur help. yea i checked the fuse already. it wasnt blown. called resun agent and they quoted me $120 to repair it. wasn't willing to pay that amount as it was already almost the amount i bought the chiller for. So took out the circuit board cleaned with contact cleaner and resoldered the corroded parts and its working as good as new now.

Yes, fixing your own problem is great.

Oh yes, the Resun tend to allow water seepage thru the control panel area, I have a few short circuits before when I accidently dripped water on it. It's good to use clear tape to seal off the gaps to prevent any seepage, this might be the cause of your corrosion.

To each it's own. Some said that hailea is quieter, haven't personally tried it.

Internally looks pretty much similar, but for the exhaust fan build, I personally liked the hailea ones which can easily be replaced without needing new mounts.
