Tian85
Nice work! Careful of the bubbles as it will cause weakness in the joins and might cause leaking. Overall, very nice DIY!!!

SRC Member yoko Posted December 23, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted December 23, 2012 would the acrylic stand be able to take the weight of the water ? it would be disasterous if the stand broke and shattered the tank onto e floor

I have since made a few 15mm 2ft braceless tank and it was quite different from doing a 10mm tank.

^GeNoME^
Here is my previous diy cabinet which I have the design for acrylic tank Any PIC of your router table? Ur tank will b heavy and u definitely need more hands especially pulling out the pin when fixing the bottom panel. Not sure what pointers u need but feel free to ask. I am in the midst of getting my router to work perfectly because if the router is not at 90degree, a thick material will be cut at a angle and cause problem during annealing. It might be good to share your jig and various tools so that we can discuss in depth.

SRC Member oceanviper Posted January 3, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted January 3, 2015 Hi Bro. I'm not using router for the cutting. Using 8 inch saw mill for cutting. As for the top panel opening, that will be using router.
