Marine_Tank
Hi There, Anyone can share their experience on treating Regal Angel (Royal Empress Angel) fish with cloudy eye ? One of her eyes are clouded for quite some time already. Is this pop-eyed problem ? Is there any effective treatment for this conditon ? Achilles Tang
It should go away after some time. I suspect a drop in water quality or eye trauma....

Marine_Tank
Thanks guys. But is this fatal if left untreated ?
birman
leave it for awhile and observe. most likely it's due to injury. it happened to my tomato clown and my blue tang before. recovered in about a week without any treatment. just keep it under observation and make sure it continues to feed well. pop-eye usually happens to both eyes. neutronics
Usually indication of poor water quality. Make a 30% water change. Add melafix if you want.
SRC Member hmkui Posted January 20, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 20, 2004 hi guys.. just leave the regal alone don't try to put it on a fresh water dip cos.. it might stress the regal further.. observe for a while and if he is eating well... it will heal by itself... if u r feeding yr regal with brine shrimp or mysis shrimp soak it with garlic extract it will help them to heal faster and garlic extract has a very strong sense which will tempt yr regal to eat... hope this is useful... SRC Member arcanehacker Posted January 22, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 22, 2004 My lionfish usually have that when I use waterlife's octozin.. I think its too strong for it. What you need to do is do partial water change, add lots of activated carbon. Usually its because of bad water condition or too much medicine.. Quote Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?
